Pingtan airport will go down as the second airport in Fuzhou, the capital city of the province as well as a potential metropolis, and an aviation hub to Taiwan.
Based on Pingtan’s facilitated cross-Straits logistics and roles as a window for China’s opening up to the outside world, both parties aim to build a fast lane for trading bulk farm products from Taiwan and Southeast Asia.
Through this programme, the highlights and characteristics of Pingtan will be promoted, so that more people of insight can come to Pingtan and build it into a common homeland for compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Straits.
About 50% of the scenes have been filmed in Pingtan, and it is expected to be released next summer.
