On February 25, the Cycling Challenge in the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau attracted close to 300 participants from all over the country, including many well-known cycling teams. The competition included three major events: men's elite road race, men's mass road race, and women's road race, with a track of 4.2 kilometers per lap. The women's road race covered a total distance of 25.2 kilometers. Despite the adverse effects of strong winds, the team worked together in harmony and made frequent breakaways in the intense competition. Eventually, the team's leader, Gao Yanjiao, crossed the finish line in second place overall but first in the sprint, earning the team a podium position.
On February 26, the 11th Jinwan Road Cycling Open officially began on what is known as the "most beautiful race track in Guangdong." The women’s team kept its strong momentum. According to the team manager Liu Ran, the track spanned 34 kilometers and was a typical out-and-back route. "The track was smooth and spacious, with beautiful scenery, but strong winds in recent days increased resistance to cycling. However, the team members continued to work together seamlessly, resulting in young rider Yuan Yifan and team leader Wang Xing’e winning the first and second places respectively in the third lap.
The team's success in both events was an impressive achievement, highlighting their skills, coordination, and dedication.
